It’s only when one mounts it on a kitchen sink when its true beauty makes real sense. Especially when one takes into account the other kitchen surroundings it’s likely to complement.
However, looks-wise it’s a matter of taste with this faucet. We’re more for it than we are against it. Especially since we’ve had the privilege of catching sight of a real piece installed in a real kitchen environment for real-world use. It definitely isn’t all about looks. Each design and styling element also has an equivalent performance function, although this remains one of the most good-looking and sleekest pull-down faucets around.
The design of the head, in particular, works well on the aesthetics front. It’s about far more than just looks. Otherwise, it’s not too shiny and so doesn’t entertain any form of tackiness, not even in the slightest bit. The body is made of a solid brass build, as seems to be the trend with some of the best pull-down faucets on the market today. It has a satin nickel color profile and finishes. This mutes any cheap-looking sheen that would have probably thrown the whole design off-course if it was coated with something like a shiny chrome or stainless steel. So the satin nickel finish really works well for this particular faucet.
High-Profile arch design with smooth, clean lines has this unit classified as having a nice contemporary look. The astute interior designer with a keen eye for crossover styling may well place this faucet beyond modern kitchens, finding a home for it in transitional or even retro kitchens.

This single-lever pull-down faucet features a single handle as the name and description suggested. While the water consumption is at 2.2 gallons per minute, the water flow rate itself is at 1.8 gallons per minute, with the water flowing through a 59-inch hose.
The spout reaches 7 inches while its height rises 8 inches. To ensure some good flexibility in the faucet’s functionality, the unit has an ergonomically designed spray head that has an aerated stream.
Installation
Sitting pretty in the middle of the price range of some of the best pull-down kitchen faucets featured, this Kraus Single-Lever unit weighs 4.5 pounds and measures 15 x 7 x 15 inches. These are some specs to take into account with regards to its installation.
The installation method requires this faucet to be surface mounted via just a single hole. This means it will integrate quite seamlessly into the sink unit and even DIYers can manage with the installation instructions and all the provided hardware required to mount it.
Functionality
This is just one of those all-around well-made and well-presented faucets. It brings together style with good substance. This makes it a great addition to any kitchen. You can just feel the quality in the build when you hold it in your hands. It’s by no means all about the look and feels. However, each sleek design feature is worth its keep in terms of the operational features it provides.
Kicking things off with the rather futuristic looking head. While it looks really good on the eye it was shaped that way so that it could easily fit an aerator. This is some high-performance stuff with some good water-efficiency coming with the aerator. You also get some solid reliability you can rely on completely with the precision cartridge made of ceramic ensuring there’s no drip at all.
Operating the functions is a breeze as well with the single-lever handle. You can control water flow and temperature without giving it much thought.
Oh and the spout swivels 360 degrees as well, which is the cherry on top.
No lead is used in the unit’s body, which is otherwise completely metallic in its composition. The docking is secure, staying nicely intact even when you retract the hose for more flexible usage.
Maintenance
Not much maintenance is required for this pull-down faucet since it’s highly resistant to rust and corrosion. It’s also really, really easy to clean and doesn’t require cleaning often. The nozzles are made of rubber to prevent hard water build-up and they are also easy to clean.
